The surface of the lamp tube shall be wiped with 75 percent alcohol once a week. When it is used, the surface of the lamp tube shall be cleaned at any time.
Its maintenance is usually to wipe it with an alcohol cotton ball to ensure that its radiation intensity is not affected by dust.
Some nursing colleagues discussed in the group that 75 percent 95 percent of the alcohol solution used to wipe the lamp is OK. Our hospital used to implement 95 percent and now it is 75 percent .
"Basic nursing" clearly points out that during its disinfection and use, the lamp tube should be well maintained and kept clean: generally, wipe it gently with absolute ethanol gauze or cotton ball once every two weeks to remove dust and dirt.
The hospital in which the author works now carries out wiping once a week, fixed disinfection and irradiation time, 7-8 o'clock every night. In case of special circumstances, it can be appropriately advanced or delayed, but it should be guaranteed once a week. The wiping solution is now 75 percent ethanol solution.
